We write and produce competitive grant applications for educational programs operated by universities, colleges, school and non-profit organizations. We help clients match their needs with funding opportunities and present compelling grants that are responsive to the grant criteria. Our services include facilitating partner planning meetings and strategy development. We also assist our clients to design needs assessment instruments such as key informant surveys to collect student and family data for grant applications. We conduct research using census, school, government and other data sources to produce the latest demographic profiles and compelling needs statements illustrating the needs of the communities. We assist clients to prepare and submit required federal and state electronic application packages such as grants.gov, Work Space, iGrants, etc.

College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) - Private University (funded 2020):

$2.1 million five-year U.S. Department of Education, College Assistance Migrant Program grant – to provide first-year college students from a migrant or seasonal farmworker background with academic and support services to help them succeed at the university.

High School Equivalency Program (HEP) - Private University (funded 2020):

$2.4 million five-year U.S. Department of Education, High School Equivalency Program grant for helping individuals obtain a GED and continue their education and careers.

Education Innovation and Research (EIR) - Educational Service District (funded 2020):

$4 million five-year U.S. Department of Education, Education Innovation and Research Program Early-Phase grant to research the impact of the increasing use of new virtual technologies to connect diverse STEM/Computer Science Role Models with farmworker students in isolated small rural communities to examine changes in attitude about pursuing STEM/Computer Science fields. This project will serve students from 6 school districts.

21 st Century Community Learning Centers (21 st CCLC) - Public School District (funded 2020):

$2.1 million five-year Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, for three 21 st Century Community Learning Centers offering after school programs.

School Climate Transformation (SCT) - Educational School District (funded 2019):

$3.7 million five-year US Department of Education, School Climate Transformation grant to improve school climate by enhancing the Multi-Tiered System of Support framework and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports in seven school districts.

Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) - State University (funded 2018):

$23.3 million seven-year U.S. Department of Education, GEAR UP grant for providing early intervention services for at-risk youth and assist them to enroll in postsecondary in 4 school districts.

Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) - State University (funded 2017):

$29.3 million seven-year U.S. Department of Education, GEAR UP grant for providing early intervention services for at-risk youth and assist them to enroll in postsecondary in 13 school districts.

Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) - State University (funded 2017):

$12.2 million seven-year U.S. Department of Education, GEAR UP grant for providing early intervention services for at-risk youth and assist them to enroll in postsecondary in 9 school districts.
