Executive Assistant

Before joining the RGI Team, Leslie worked at the Northwest Community Action Center, one of the areas widely recognized non-profit organizations. Through this experience, Leslie has gained much knowledge in working with federal and state grants and learned about their reporting requirements.

Leslie worked with the 21st Century Community Learning Centers, one of the many programs for which RGI provides grant writing and evaluation services. In addition, she worked with the Employment & Training Programs that train disadvantaged parents on work readiness skills to enter the workforce. During this period, she managed the compliance of contracts and worked closely with administrative staff to ensure program success. Through these experiences, she has recognized the tremendous need for services to families in the Lower Yakima Valley. The struggles that underprivileged families face have inspired her to serve the Lower Yakima Valley and ensure that quality services are provided to all.

Leslie obtained her Associate of Arts Degree at Yakima Valley Community College in 2005.
